For the better part of last weekend artists were ripping it big with political activities around the country.
One of the artists who rocked the stage and performed to thousands of Kenyans at Kasarani is celebrated artist Jaguar.
According to sources close to the artist, Jaguar, who is also a friend to President Uhuru was allegedly paid Ksh 1 million for his four-minute performance at the launch.
It was also reported that Kenyan artists were complaining of unfair payment whereby foreign artists are being paid almost 5 times more than them. Other sources also claim that no other singer was paid over half a million with the next artist getting almost Ksh700,000 less of what Jaguar pocketed at the event. Jaguar is also said to have spent the one million to aid the victims of the slum fire in Nairobi’s South B.
